Fall Crops at Capon Crossing!

Even though the summer is winding down, our crops are not! The garden is producing lots of tomatoes, peppers, Roma beans (a flat Italian bean), squash, cabbage, beets, green onions, and cantaloupes! Soon to come: kale, turnips, sweet potatoes, and more. So if you are passing by, make sure you stop in and see everything we’re still growing. And ask what else is available from the garden (hint: cut flowers and herbs). Hope to see you soon!

  1. We had fun visiting a few weeks ago. Only place I can go to really get away and relax! Steaks are great! I don’t think I can eat a regular grocery store cut of meat anymore! Hope to visit again soon.
